Mr. Ian M. Sullivan serves as the Director of Intelligence, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2 for the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC G2). He is responsible for developing, defining, and applying the near-term Operational Environment (OE) in support of all TRADOC lines of effort and in support of broader Army-wide integration across Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership and Education, Personnel, Facilities, and Policy (DOTMLPF-P).
Mr. Sullivan has served with the Office of Naval Intelligence, Headquarters, U.S. Army Europe and Seventh Army, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2, as an Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) cadre member at the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), and as a Senior Advisor at the TRADOC G-2. He has held multiple Senior Executive/Senior Level Positions, including Chief of NCTC’s Community Integration Group (CIG), Chief of the Joint NCTC/Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Counterterrorism Group (CCTG), and as the Senior Advisor for Analysis and ISR at the TRADOC G-2.

Dr. Canedy is currently assigned as the Chief of Staff for the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, G-2 (Intelligence). The G-2 is a learning and enabling organization comprised of over 400 personnel, geographically dispersed, whose mission is to examine national security challenges; define, study and deliver the Operational Environment variables; and expand perspectives. This work establishes the basic building blocks for training, leader development, and concepts and capabilities and sets conditions to select, organize, train, and equip our Army for today and tomorrow.
As the Chief of Staff, Dr. Canedy is responsible for the coordination and over watch of all staff elements and missions within the G-2. She makes recommendations on strategic and operational direction as well as missions and functions of the organization. As a U.S. Army civilian for over 25 years, Dr. Canedy has also served as a federal historian; as the deputy chief of the TRADOC Commanding General’s commander’s planning group; and as deputy chief of staff for the U.S. Army Accessions Command.
EDUCATION:
From 1983-2000, she served as an adjunct faculty in American history and world civilizations at Troy State University in Dothan, Alabama; Embry Riddle University at Fort Rucker, Alabama; Thomas Nelson Community College in Hampton, Virginia; Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia; and Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia.

Sergeant Major Kenyon Curd was born in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1982. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in June of 2001 and attended Basic Training at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. After Basic Training he attended Advanced Individual Training at Fort Huachuca, AZ to be an All-Source Intelligence Analyst (96B).

Mrs. Lisa C. Bennett serves as the Senior Intelligence Advisor for Engagement, United States Army Training and Doctrine Command, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2. This is a Tier One Defense Intelligence Senior Level (DISL) position. She serves as both the Senior Intelligence Officer for Engagement and the Senior Intelligence Advisor and is responsible for advising the Commanding General, Combined Arms Center and the Commanding General, United States Army Training and Doctrine Command on the proper application of intelligence to support Training and Doctrine Development. Mrs. Bennett has been a civilian and military intelligence officer for more than four decades. She has served in intelligence organizations at echelons from tactical to joint, including assignments as the first Director, Army Open Source Center (U.S. Army INSCOM); Senior Technical Advisor – Cyber, 782nd Military Intelligence Battalion; G-2-Forward, 3rd Army (Kuwait); Director, MNF-I CJ2 Intelligence Resource and Sustainment (Baghdad); Director, Theater Ground Intelligence Center-Central (Third Army); Commander, 742nd Military Intelligence Battalion and the U.S. Army Technical Analysis and Control Element (ATCAE) (U.S. Army INSCOM); Tactics Branch Chief, U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence.

Stephen C. Duncan is a Senior Intelligence Professional with over 40 years of experience in
Intelligence Analysis; Joint Intelligence Collection and Exploitation; Wargaming at the
tactical, operational and strategic levels; and 22 years of experience in TRADOC developing,
delivering and assessing the Operational Environment. As an Army officer, he served in
positions worldwide as an intelligence officer and planner at battalion, brigade, division,
corps, NATO and Joint Force levels. He has served in all TRADOC G-2 mission areas and
lines of effort, including Analysis and Production; DOTML-PF Integration; OE support to
Training, Education and Leader Development; OE representation in Future and current force
wargaming and experimentation; and Accreditation of the Army’s OPFOR Program at all
Combat Training Centers. He has led and supported Strategic, Theater and Tactical
operations and intelligence planning as part of an Army, Joint, Coalition and Interagency
team; analyzing and articulating complex OE variables; and synchronizing intelligence and
operations. He served as an integral member of the community of practice for Army, Joint
and National Intelligence Analysis and Processing Exploitation and Dissemination
capabilities, policy and practice; and OE-informed Threat and Joint ISR collection in support
of TRADOC, AFC, Sister Service and Joint Force wargaming, experimentation, and
requirements development. As a soldier and civilian combined, he has served in tactical,
operational and strategic assignments in CONUS and overseas, including deployments to
the Balkans, Iraq and Afghanistan.
COL Travis R. Thebeau was born in Farmington, Missouri on 24 May 1974. He was commissioned as a Military Intelligence (MI) Officer upon graduation from Officer Candidate School, Class 05-02 on 11 August 2002.
