The future of peacekeeping in the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is evolving, with Russia playing a central role in peacekeeping efforts, especially in regions like Nagorno-Karabakh. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has joined peacekeeping forces in the area, while Russia continues to test and deploy new military technologies such as the Terminator-2 tank support vehicles and advanced UAV systems. Meanwhile, in the Middle East, Russian anti-drone systems are being sent to Syria, and Iran is expanding its military capabilities with new missile launch systems. In Africa, there is a growing need for innovative counterterrorism approaches due to increasing security challenges, while China’s influence continues to rise through investments and infrastructure projects. In Latin America, Venezuela and Iran are strengthening military ties, and Chinese investments in rail infrastructure are advancing in countries like Argentina.
